Our History
Am Shalom Congregation grew from the Simcoe County Jewish Association, (SCJA). In 2001, SCJA founded itself as Congregation Am Shalom, and in 2003 moved into the newly constructed synagogue. Am Shalom is a growing Reform Congregation offering weekly services, a children’s Religious School, adult education programs, with an active brotherhood and sisterhood involved in social action. Located an hour-drive north of Toronto, Am Shalom welcomes travellers to cottage country throughout the year.
