WRJ, Temple B’rith Kodesh Sisterhood -Saturday and Sunday June 4 & 5, 2011 – Event Report
Sisters are back from the Retreat in Rochester, NY. Somi, Sandra, Heather, Lilian, Mathilda, Amy and Judy had a wonderful time at the Women of Reform Judaism (sponsored) Retreat. We have lots to share with you! Education, laughter, eating, shopping and bonding were the highlights.
What we do
Our Sisterhood develops the personal growth of individual members and through our various projects creates a sense of connected community. The Sisterhood provides financial and volunteer support for synagogue and community projects such as:
- Holocaust Education Week
- Out of the Cold
- Muslim / Jewish Women Dialogue
- Annual Trunk Sale
- Judaica Gift Shop
- Yom Kippur Break the fast
- Sisterhood catering (kiddush buffet)
