The Am Shalom brotherhood is open to all male members of Am Shalom. It is a fraternal group that not only fund raises but provides support for members during stressful life cycle events. The brotherhood meet regularly at the shul on Sunday mornings at 9.45 a.m. and then go out for breakfast. Seasonal events include Grey Cup party, Buffalo Bills weekend, Ice fishing, retreat in the spring as well as an annual mission to Cuba in April. The members as well as having fun, try to bring all new members into the fold and make them welcome.
